The wing coordinator for powered orientation flights has rescinded the allocations to squadrons. If you have fewer than 5 powered flights, you are eligible to fly. Priority will always go to those who have taken the fewest flights, to those close to 18, and to whoever signs up first. (My head is spinning in disbelief at the opportunity cadets have to go fly! Please let there be enough pilots, may all the aircraft be maintenance free, and may the weather be clear!) I urge all cadet commanders to speak to their units about what orientation flights are all about. No one in this squadron should be without at least one flight after September.
