There are currently 2 Watch and Act messages for Ngarkat Please refer to the additional message ow.ly/sDrIs BUSHFIRE WATCH AND ACT - Ngarkat Message Issued: 17:35 16/01/2014 CFS advises that a bushfire at Ngarkat Conservation Park near Bunns Bore, Ngarkat Road and Mount Shaugh Track may threaten your safety. The NGARKAT fire is travelling in a Southerly direction towards Bunns Bore, Coolami and Dalinga Downs at Shaugh. The uncontrolled fire is burning in Scrub and conditions are continually changing. Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and prepare for a bushfire in your area. If your plan is to leave or you are not prepared, leaving early is the safest option. Only leave if the path is clear to a safe place. You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe. Well prepared and actively defended homes can offer safety.
