There are many stereo-type perceptions around the world. In the 1980s my Japanese pastor friend told me that he thought that in the United States only Black people are poor because they are lazy. He said he got that idea from watching U.S. TV programs in Japan. When I told him that there are poor people of all races in the United States and few of them are lazy, he asked why American TV did not show them. I couldnt answer that.
