There are no saving properties in the 10 commandments alone. The 10 commandments in and of themselves cannot pardon sin nor can the 10 commandments forgive sin. The only one who can forgive or pardon sin is Jesus Christ who died once for all. And it is our faith by our actions in Jesus Christ that saves. And those who have not been pardoned will be lost. Also the lord, at HIS death did not abolish the 10 commandments nor did HE do away with the 10 commandments because the 10 commandments are Gods moral laws for all created beings. And the 10 commandments are the standard by which every persons character is compared to and judged by God. The 10 commandments are the foundation of Gods government in heaven and on earth. Beloved: do not deceive yourself. Only he or she who does the will of my Father who is in heaven shall be saved. Did you know that sin is the breaking of any of the 10 commandments and the wages of sin is death and that sin will not exist in heaven. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. . . . WE ESTABLISH THE LAW !!! And the 4th commandment says to remember to keep the Sabbath day Holy.
