There are really only two types of citizens in America: Americans - TopicsExpress

There are really only two types of citizens in America: Americans and “government citizens.” Americans respect and defend individual rights. Government citizens ignore and destroy individual rights. In my March 26 Napa Valley Register commentary, “The difference between Americans and ‘government citizens,’” I explained how Americans protect the individual rights of every other individual, which ensures freedom for all citizens to pursue their own destiny. I explained how government citizens are selfish individuals who use government to control and take advantage of fellow individuals for their own personal schemes and benefit. In this commentary, I will further clarify the difference between Americans and government citizens. I was criticized in my original commentary for defining citizens as either Americans or government citizens, because I was told, “We are all Americans.” My response is: We are not all Americans. Americans respect individual rights, government citizens don’t. It’s that simple. Government citizens hate being called government citizens because it exposes them for the control freaks they are. Our Declaration of Independence tells us every individual is born with God-given “unalienable” rights. Unalienable rights belong to every individual whether we believe in God or not. Unalienable rights are outside the reach of government, allowing every individual to pursue his or her own destiny with limited government intrusion. Our Bill of Rights is an extension of our unalienable rights, telling government what rights government can’t touch. Americans understand individual rights are American freedom. Freedom to government citizens is a government with unlimited power, which they can freely use to control and take advantage of fellow individuals for their own personal agendas. Government citizens believe all rights come from government, meaning they believe they can use government to control all aspects of life. Government citizens promote collectivist ideology (collectivism), which is at the core of communism, Nazism, the United Nations and every totalitarian system.
