There are supporters of President Ebele Joe that I admire and respect. Then there are Jonathanians, insufferable supporters of Jonathan. This group I sometimes wish I had the powers of those women in Yoruba movies to have them bound in a dark room and do a hard reset of their brains. Sincerely. But thats not possible now is it? So, these hare-brained guys, some of whom are professionals and want us to respect them, come on Zuckerville and tell their legion of fellow hare-brainers that APC is responsible for Boko Haram and how they, fellow citizens like you and I, have got all the facts. I used to think I wasnt smart until some of their pathetic logic kept popping up on my newsfeed day in, day out. Still, I dont want to believe theyre dumb or even the hare-brained I called them. Theyre doing what they do deliberately. Whats that thing they say about repeating a lie over and over again? Over 200 girls are still in Boko Haram captivity for about 180 days now. Ordinary citizens know those responsible for this and other atrocities. Yet, these Jack Bauers want me to believe their Oga at the top doesnt know. In their attempt to paint APC a terrorist party, they make Jonathan come across as either complicit in this evil (since they know so much, a Commander-in-Chief must know too na, abi?), or simply uncaring about matters and therefore ignorant. Unfortunately, this is Nigeria where many dont employ critical reasoning to process what they hear and/or read. That these insufferable Jonathanians know all there is to know about terrorism, such serious, despicable and heinous crime against humanity, and the one they so trumpet defense for either doesnt know or doesnt care enough is exactly why I call on good people of Nigeria reading me at this hour not to return this president who thrives only on luck and sentimentalities of a gullible people. Please, I beg of you, let posterity judge you right. So you show me pictures of revamped airports and roads? How about security? Shouldnt that be most important? If PDP and President Jonathan are sure APC is behind all the lives we have lost and have deliberately refused to prosecute them, then they are no better. Dont mortgage our tomorrow by falling for such cheap and heartless propaganda REMAIN BLESSED AND HAPPY WEAKEND.
