There is something on my mind tonight before I go to bed. It might be harsh, but needs to be said. There are people or relatives in every family probably that calls themselves Christians. They go to church every time the door is open. They volunteer for things. They welcome newcomers to their worship service. They are the pillars of the community. They already believe heaven is waiting on them. They just know that they are truly a Christian! Then here goes the real story. These arent young so called Christians, but people that have studied their bible for 40_50 yrs. Wow! These hidden people gossip everyday. They hurt people by judging them without getting to know that person. They absolutely think they are better and will be in heaven while the one they gossip about is burning in hell. Why? Do you think that any fault you have is lesser because you hide your prejudices? Do you really think you are better than another Christian who accepts everyone, and prays for everyone? Have you ever had compassion for someone you didnt know? Have you ever hurt someone who always looked up to you? Have you ever snubbed a family member or anyone for that matter who lives a quiet life but 35 yrs ago married the wrong color? Have you ever whispered about someone who wasnt dressed as well as you? Have you ever spread tales you knew nothing about? Pardon me for my rant. But does this person know who they are? Are they worried at all that it might just be wrong to hide? One thing true...NOBODY hides ANYTHING from our Saviour! I guess everyone might know someone like this. Im glad I live so far away that I dont have too see it played out everyday. All I have to do is too keep praying, loving, and just know that my only sister who is far away is being watched over by Our Lord and Saviour! My father always stayed away from people who thought they were better than him. He moved away, not as far as I did but move he did to..Lake Malone or Whiskey Bay. It just wasnt the drunks versus Jesus, it also was being away from those who thought they were too goody goody to be around. They didnt care if he believed in Jesus Christ. They didnt care if he showed compassion to others less fortunate. They just live in their own little circle reading something other than the King James Bible. I love you Melissa Gay! Watch out for the one that hides and pray for those who are lost. Im very tired and hope I didnt make too many mistakes. God Bless!
