There was some dude standing on the corner in Downtown Greenville, preaching his questionable version of the Gospel. He was just screaming at people. And then he told everybody that AIDS and cancer were Gods way of punishing all of us. People began to yell obscenities at this man. I couldnt blame them. Know this: if you are going to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, this is not the way to do it. This man only succeeded in alienating a bunch of people, pushing them away from Christianity. He was too busy looking pious on a street corner spewing hateful rhetoric when he should have been building relationships with these people. Building relationships -- thats the way that you bridge the gap. Not the other way. Not this guys way. Pissed me off a little.
