There wont be any war. Putin is just using his military as a psychological pressure tactic. Hes too much of a coward and understands that he will miserably LOSE any war he starts. The world is pretty much UNITED against him. So, any attempts to bolster Putins regime through propaganda is doomed to failure. Its pathetic and laughable. Two options: 1) Russian Federation self-destructs and falls apart. 2) Russia becomes what it has always been - a fully Asian-style country, without any pretense to having anything to do with being Western or European. Putin has shown his inability and unwillingness to understand and internalize the European values, to play by the rules of the democratic game in the West. The West has clearly communicated that its changing its approach to Russia - they will no longer pander to Putin in hopes that he will modernize and civilize. They will simply contain the beast until it either falls apart or transforms into something more sustainable and sensible. Not much of a choice, I agree. But nasty as it is, the choice is Russias to make. Of course, there is another option - for the people to rise up, throw Putin off, and establish a new beginning, a completely novel concept of Russian state as a democratic, people-representing entity. But the chance of that happening is, unfortunately, very slim, from the looks of it. So, there you have it.
