Being rich is programmed. And being controlled by your upline could be programmed too. Like me, Im a great speaker and could persuade people to do what I want. I could excite you. I could hype you. I could show and use my results to get you and get verses from religious books or quotes from great business people. I could use the power of the media esposure of my company just to sign you up. I could do that and so does all the uplines in the world of MLM. You have to be careful. In my organization I tell my people not to follow me blindly. I tell them to challenge my ideas and only follow me if it agrees with your own reason. Most people in MLM is blinded by the money and riches they could make. And greed is a powerful manipulation tool. This in turn makes them robots incapable of thinking for themselves. They let their upline do the thinking for them. And when you allow your upline to do the thinking for you you lose your personality you lose your authenticity. You lose who you really are. You are just like a zombie that cant think anymore. A Yes upline attitude only works if you believe in yourself first then follow your upline. If you dont know why you are following your upline or your company then you are manipulated. You should know why you are doing what you are doing. The truth is, it is easier to control or herd people than train them to be like an upline that is why most uplines just gives orders to follow because it will be easier for them to give orders than train you. And because when you know how to think for yourself you might not follow them and they might lose you or you might join another company and this is what they are fearful. It is easier to hype people than to train them to think for themslves. Learn to be aware and only follow not because they are making a lot of money or authority figures but follow a leader that you believe in. Follow because you like and has established a relationship with the person. When you dont practice thinking for yourself. You will be easily manipulated and controlled by unscrupulous uplines who will always be biased in just making money for himself not you. You will never develop your self-confidence. You will never develop your own leadership skills. You will never grow as a person because you are always depended on your upline. Just like what most successful people say, If you dont build your dreams you will build somebody elses dream. The right attitude is you must be like your upline or surpass him. If you could surpass him according to Robert Greene then he is a great mentor. Find a company, a product or plan that you believed in. And you also thought it over not because you were just hyped up (which is whats happening these days) most people are recruited through hype or herd mentality. Not because a lot of people are doing it you should follow. One of the great characteristics of a leader like Jesus, Buddha, Martin Luther king, Mahatma Gandhi, Gokongwei, Bill gates, Steve Jobs is that they know how to think for themselves they did not follow the crowd they did not follow the herd like the movie Divergent. There is nothing wrong about following someone if you want to become like that person but you should also consider thinking for yourself too. Learn to think for yourself. Stand out.
