Third and final update: Needs. Everybody has asked us since the fire What do you need? and Ive come up with a list of things we have lost in the fire and need to move into our new home. I have a priority list of things we could definitely use sooner than later, and a second list of other things we lost that will help make our house a home. Allow me to clarify: I am not asking for ANYTHING on this list, nor do I expect donations, handouts, or charity. I would be happy to buy things, trade for things, or whatever arrangement works best, I just want to put out there what we need for our new place. PRIORITY: Chairs- of any kind. we will need kitchen chairs, cushioned ones for the living room, outside/patio chairs, even folding chairs. just stuff to sit on for the meantime. Entertainment center/Shelving- this one is kind of loose, we need shelves for the walls, or bookshelves for storing things, possibly an entertainment center for the right price or if someone can donate, but thats not extremely important. Sofa/Couch/Loveseat Bedframe/boxspring/mattress College books- (Culinary On Cooking by Labensky; Computer Go! Microsoft Office 2013 revised for Spring 2014 by Gaskin and Vargas) Shoes (Sam 10 1/2, 11W for me) Lighter Jackets/Hoodies (Mens XL for Sam, Womens L for me) Towels Dishes and Glassware Food (dry and fresh) Pots and Pans Silver(flat)ware Pet supplies for Sadie-food is English Bulldog by royal canin, and harder rugged toys would be better Small tools (screwdriver etc) Vacuum SECONDARY: Rugs Wall Clock Coffee/end tables (nightstands) Picture frames/wall hangings Coat hangers for wall DVD player TV XBOX 360 Bedding set (we have blankets and pillows, this is more formal make the bed stuff) (at least 2) Dressers Curtains Scarves (not necessarily winter/warmth, I lost all my regular spring scarves also) Clothes hamper First Aid Kit Blender Cookbooks Cooking utensils (spoons, spatulas, etc.) Electric Hand Mixer Spices (kitchen or otherwise) Table Toaster (oven?) Printer (or scanner) Christmas Decorations Camping stuff Disks (golf) Board games Cooler Fans/ AC units In advance, thanks SO MUCH for anybody who can offer anything for sale or donation, Im so grateful for everybodys help, advice, support, and love....I couldnt do this without my friends and family and Ill never forget that.
