This Bruce Odhiambo story in The SUNDAY NATIONs Lifestyle magazine page 6 is quite a Fabrication and misinterpretation of the phrase HUMBLE BACKGROUND. Being brought up by a mother who was carreer civil servant (Accountant) and attending some the prestigious / Mid standard schools in the 1970 rule out the use of the word HUMBLE in a Kenyan Society. My Friend MIKE OWUOR who compiled the story should have PRESERVED some words to be used in Compiling Stories on Early Life experiences of HON. NICHOLAS GUMBO who wore his first Pair of SHOE while joining FORM 1 at CARDINAL OTUNGA HIGH SCHOOL MOSOCHO.
