This brings home the stark reality of what it means to be prepared to lay down your life for others and believing in something so strongly you are prepared to die for it! Many have gone before them and many are yet to follow. .?? Anyone make sense to it? There is none, not in our understanding. But the thing it does do is compel each of us to ask of ourselves do I have a faith as strong as this or believe in something to a level I would give up my life for it? To face death suddenly brings about a true meaning as to why we might live life. Matt:10:39 Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. my heart goes to the families of these bravest of souls and we should continue to hope and pray for a turnaround in this mans thinking.
