This day started with unexpected bad news and sadness. We will all miss Beau very much. He was truly a gentle soul (at least to humans). I owe some big thank yous to some great people today. Thank you Sabrina and Blake for the wonderful flowers. They gave me a reason to clean off my table and remind me the kind of people I like to surround myself with. Also a big thank you to Cori for bringing some wonderful beer and sitting down on the back porch for a visit, and to Jeff and Cori for babysitting Finnegan and Boston for the remainder of the summer and letting them graze and be young. Hopefully they behave nicely for you and dont cause too much trouble. This is a huge help to me. Shiloe also ventured back home today with Stephanie. She was here visiting for a few weeks. Lots going on in the barn today. Still have a few more things to do today, including cleaning, so wont be a short night, thats for sure, but enjoyed some good company. P.S. Michelle Thietje Look at Finns new look. His mane was pretty thin after all the tangles came out, so we leveled it up and it should grow in pretty good now. He has also filled out a bunch and is starting to look like a nice thick, good looking horse. He is going to spend some time out on pasture at Coris house for the rest of the summer, so that should help thicken him up even more.
