This is Sandy.. The traumatised collie x girl we took from Cork DAWG. You may remember that she howled in absolute distress after being surrendered by her family - after theyd had her 6 years - for killing a new kitten they had brought into the house. She then went into a foster home in Ireland where she proved very destructive when left so she came to us at BRX (the dogs are almost never left here). I too cried when i saw her because she looks so very like my much-loved Tickle who we lost earlier this year and who, coincidentally, also came from Cork. Sweet Sandy hasnt put a paw wrong and she has settled in here like its always been her home - always by my side, perfect on and off-lead, great with the other dogs and shes loving her walks on the Plain. Shes staying...
