This is a PLEA and we NEED YOU to help make this wonderful womans LAST WISH come true! Ive changed the name of the lady involved to protect both her and her cats from actions against her cats by her husband. Sue has spent much of her life providing a safe haven for cats. As they continued to be dropped off and discarded like they were nothing but garbage, Sue opened up her heart and her home and provided them with the love and the care they needed and deserved. She spent a great deal of her hard earned money spaying and neutering each and every one of them and has fed them and cared for them ever since. As the years passed by, Sue ended up with about 30 cats in her care. Now, at just 61 years old, Sue has metastasized cancer and sadly, her days are numbered. Each day it isnt the thought of how long she has left that causes her to break down crying and it isnt the pain and discomfort caused by the cancer that is keeping her awake all night. Its the constant worry she feels every hour of every day over what is going to happen to her beloved cats. As if this terrible, fatal disease isnt enough to withstand, her husband (who despises cats) is also now trying to get her kicked out of the home she and the cats have been living in. She is sick with worry and has tried her best to save her cats without any success and now, being as sick as she is, she feels helpless and only wants to know that her cats are okay before her time runs out. Speaking to Sue on the phone literally broke my heart and the tears are flowing as I am writing this. I realize that life isnt always easy or fair, but NO ONE should have to deal with this kind of heartache. She should NOT have to spend the time she has left worrying herself to the point of a breakdown and she most certainly shouldnt be wasteing what time she does have staying home each and every day to protect these cats from a husband she feels cannot be trusted with them. If this was your mother or your father, what would you do? How would you feel? I can tell you that finding these cats homes is the ONLY THING that Sue really cares about right now AND by helping this LAST WISH she has come true, you can bet that rather than crying, she will be smiling. Rather than sitting in her home, worrying, she can enjoy the sun and the beauty of this life before she no longer has the ability to do so. I am BEGGING each and every one of YOU to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP. SHARE this post to try and find foster or forever homes for some of these cats. DONATE and ask others to donate as well to help with the cost of food, litter and vet care which must be done before they can even enter their foster or forever homes Even if just 20 people fostered or adopted TWO CATS or 10 people fostered or adopted 3 cats, ALL of these cats would be SAFE!
