This is exciting, NPR wants to come film the lovebirds that visit our feeders. I just received this email : Trish, "I see you just reported a location for Lovebirds. Yesterday I received a request to film Lovebirds by the NPR affiliate in Tucson. It is kind of short notice, they want to come up next Friday Aug 9th and find lovebirds somewhere to photograph for the story they are doing. So I am looking for the most recent sightings reported in hopes the lovebirds will still be around a week from now. Of course you would have to be willing to put up with NPR for a short time while they film, and I understand if this seems like a crazy idea. Plus, they want to do this on a week day and that makes things more difficult. In any case, please let me know if you still have lovebirds visiting often enough to make the trip worthwhile and, again, would be willing to put up with the NPR folks. Thank you for the fabulous lovebird photos you sent to me. I virtually never get anything of this high quality. I will certainly find a place for them on a new gallery page on the web site!" Pretty cool, huh?
