This is for those of you who haven´t yet had a chance to see the Lanzarote The Gazette for May 2014. There is a fine line between maintaining and protecting the untouched hidden side to this island, and sharing the natural beauty that Rural Lanzarote has to offer. Seven years ago when we were just starting out at Finca de Arrieta, a special lady visited to write about a film by Pedro Almodóvar. Broken embraces was inspired by a photograph which he had taken of the black beach at el Golfo. Thank you Annie Bennett, you really did start the ball rolling, and Mr David Cameron seems to have enjoyed the island treasures just as much as you did :-) Lanzarote is lots of things, and Grotty certainly isn´t one of them Thanks David!
