This is just a theory. It just came to me. Im not positive about it yet. But... Is it possible that the entire obamacare program was just dreamed up as a five-year project by the federal Department of Education to calculate Americas percentage of stupid people? I can just see it now... two dweebish policy wonks at the Dept of Ed are arguing: Moe: I think more than half the country is stupid. Shemp: No, I think less than half are. Moe: No, More. Shemp: No, Less. And so it went, back and forth, until eventually they came up with this idea. Lets propose the stupidest, most convoluted policy idea ever: a program that makes health insurance cost twice as much while making the annual deductible SKYROCKET so that most people can virtually never use it and making sure that most good providers wont accept it. Make it federal law. And then well just see if a majority of the American people support it or not. What do ya think? It makes about as much sense as the alleged real reason: that Democrats - a bunch of politicians who are smart enough to win elective office and sometimes even win majorities - really believe that this monstrosity is a good thing!
