This is the VIDEO and the AGENDA of the Greensburg IN City Board of Aviation Commissioners mtg. of 1-26-15. NOTE: At the end of the meeting under payment of bills note that Pres. Jon Dooley presents a $400.00 bill to Mary Bennett for her not to grow crops at the end of the runway. There is a meaningful and founded objection by Orris Reese as to whether this is proper as he questioned that it was not on the agenda. Another member did not think it was actually a payment of a bill but didnt know quite what to call it. In observing what was said it appeared to be a contract to be approved for a payment from the description given and Mr. Reese had a valid objection. The President commented on Mr. Reeses objection but then called for a vote and in lieu of the objection it was unanimously voted on in the affirmative. NOTE: This board has an interesting procedure for elections. They handle several items of business.....hold their election.....and with a change in leadership of this board...the new president does not take over the agenda until the next meeting. Most of the other boards hold their elections as the first item of business of the new year on their agenda and then the new leadership takes over the agenda for the rest of the meeting since they are the new President. NOTE: New President for 2015 is Bill Ernstes and New Vice is Jon Dooley.
