This is the time now to cling to the cross, are you clinging on that cross where Jesus bled and died. If not it takes less than 2 minutes to receive Christ into your life, just by asking him to come and enter your heart. Its not at all painful, its relieving actually, the reward is pleasant it last for eternity and the bonus is your joy, your peace, your life will become new. So cling to that old rugged cross like you have never clung to anything before, we are in for a heck of a ride. And its a good one.
