This old wooden bird feeder looked like it was on its last leg. I - TopicsExpress

This old wooden bird feeder looked like it was on its last leg. I contemplated throwing it in the trash, but most of you know me, if can be upcycled, its going to be and get a face lift. Structurally it was still sound, so I decided to use some paint, nail polish, giant push pins, and stickers to give it some personality. I dont think the birds will care what it looks like as long as it has bird seed in it, but I like it. :) Oh, and the cost for redoing it - pennies. The blue paint is Ralph Lauren paint that was found in a house that we helped a friend clean (free), the push pins were bought on clearance for $0.37 for 30, I used 6 of them ($0.06), the nail polish was left over that came from the dollar store. I used about 1/4 of each bottle ($0.75) and the foam stickers were bought on clearance years ago for $2.49 for 300 (so lets say $0.18).
