This one should be enlightening to those who believe there is no such thing as a Secular of Moderate Muslim .. but unfortunately, when one has already developed such a narrow and wrong opinion, they are not likely to want to change it. Turkey is a dynamic Democratic, but as is the case in the U.S. they have leadership problems. Still, it is an economic and military power to be reckoned with. Their economy is on a par with and above that of most Western European countries and they have the 2nd largest standing army in ANTO .. America being the 1st. Im no a fan of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan .. but then neither is Soner Cagaptay but he is now a diplomat .. as I once was .. but no longer am .. so he is talking about the country rather than the Democratically elected leader in this speech he presented to the U.S. House Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats.
