This poem was shared with me personally (good thing cuz if I had read it on RAVEN DAWN WILLIS first I would have lost it ALONE and I got to lose it with someone who would understand and still love me and understand) What a beautiful poem..shared this story with this special person and never knew God knew how much the story and poem would go together...story first, then the poem... During the 42 days in ICU, I was pretty much in and out of it...duh more than normal (if you can believe it) I knew they were voting each Tuesday on what to do with me (all those medical people) and they finally decided to put the LVAD (heart pump) in on Aug. 9th - three days after Saras birthday! I had already died twice and seen Jesus on July 10th when I had the heart attack and so much MORE had gone on...well, I remember being taken to a MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDEN...and I knew it was GOD Who took me there...the most beautiful colors I have ever seen and ever will see til I am there again. I never saw HIM but was able to walk in this GARDEN and feel the most beautiful peace and comfort and see the most beautiful things... I said later, when are they going to put the pump in me and Gerry said, They already have! God took me to that place right at that special time and I will never ever forget it...I do not remember the colors but I do remember I saw them and will see them again...this was 13 months before I received RAVENS HEART...heres the poem...It is amazing!!! A beautiful garden now stands alone, missing the one who nurtured it, but now she is gone Her flowers still bloom, and the sun, it still shines, but the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind. The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away, but the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay. She loved every flower even some that were weeds, so much love she would plant with each little seed. But just like her flowers, she was part of Gods plan, so when it was her time, he reached down his hand. He looked through the garden, searching for the best. Thats when he found Raven, it was her time to rest. It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go, but God had a spot in his garden that needed a gentle soul. So when you start missing Raven, remember if you just wait, when God has a spot in his garden, Shell meet you at the gate....
