This reminds me of a Christmas promo on CBS from around 1970. It was a cartoon of Ziggy. Ziggy walks out into the woods with a handsaw and approaches a tree, where the birds are singing. When the birds see him with the saw, they stop singing. Ziggy pauses for a few moments, takes the saw and begins to play "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman" on it and the birds began to sing again. I think it made the perfect statement. We have the potential of destroying, it appeared that Ziggy was going to cut down the tree, which would have let the birds homeless, but instead, he made music to harmonize with them.
