This shocking accident reveals many interesting inner and outer game concepts when compared to any athletes performance; including tennis players. So, when watching this ask these questions; how did he do this and who did this? The answer is he didnt do it, but HE did. For me this demonstrates perfectly what is referred to when one uses the phrase effortless effort. The acts of elite athletes are completely unconscious. As Galleway pointed out so long ago in his insightful book, The Inner Game of Tennis, there are two selves; the thinking/analytical self and the non-analytical or aware self. If the former can be distracted to get out of the way, allowing the intuitive self or awareness to perform, some amazing physical feats can be achieved as is seen in this video.
