This status goes out to all young girls. Nie omdat ek myself jammer kry nie,maar omdat ek nie wil he anders moet die selfde fout begaan nie. I once was this hardworking,quiet,intelligentlittle lady. I got certificates every year and never believed in partying,drinking or smoking. Until highschool that is- my last certificate I got in st.6 and from there everything just started going AWOL. I started drinking and smoking in st.8 and I felt so proud because all the cool kids were doing it,but little did I know that,that would be the cause of my downfall. My grades started dropping and for some reason I couldnt care less. Everything was fun. I was one of those wanna be tsotsi girls who always hung around with boys and used their slang. Little did I know that I was embarrassing my family,especially mummy and also degrading myself. I look at my sister today and I thank God that she didnt walk the same road that I did because that would be one hell of a catastrophe. I look at some girls today and it saddens me because once upon a time that was me,but if any,I would like to give those reading this status tonight a piece of advice,nie omdat ek beter is nie,maar omdat ek weet hoe dit voel om spyt te wees. Never allow yourself to be led around with your nose by friends. Itll only be the cause of many heartaches. Be who you were born to be and not an immitation of somebody else. Goodnight. Xoxo
