This tiny restaurant packs a punch. I met a friend here for lunch and the staff was gracious when we spent three hours talking and eating. If we did not have so much to talk about, the horribly uncomfortable chairs might have really gotten to us. Please, industrial chic metal chairs do not have to be bad to sit on. I wish the decorator had done more of a test before they purchased these chairs in quantity. We started with a drink - CETRIOLO ROSSO. The cucumber, campari, gin and tonic made for a delightfully clean and refreshing drink. We tried the CHICKEN LIVER-FOIE MOUSSE which was a rich, creamy concoction that had a delightfully light flavor. The MEDITERRANEAN ANTIPASTI PLATE included a selection of cold salads from the Chefs Bar. Each one was more interesting then the next. This is a must have! Lastly we had the CACIOCAVALLO STUFFED MEATBALLS. Honestly these are just big meatballs stuffed with cheese. We were not impressed. The dried herbs were over powering and the big meatballs were just big meatballs. For dessert, the SALTED CARAMEL BUDINO. A sour cream whip topped the semi frozen dessert. The salty, sweet and tart dessert was a perfect finish to reignite our taste buds. The restaurant is decorated with all hard surfaces so it is loud even when it is not crowded. The tables are small and plenty of people get packed into this spot. Make a reservation and check this place out - but pass on the meatballs.
