This was sent for my review this morning and I just had to share. As I sat and enjoyed my morning coffee, I was blown away by the magic of photo shop and again, such an eye opener of why it is so important not to believe everything you see in media, magazines, etc. I understand the marketing and promo to make $$$, and companies need to put forth efforts of making their products appealing and that includes the people on display and what is thought to be perfection, but all of us know that perfection is not real, and only exists in photo shop, heaven, and fairy tales. It is OK to be motivated by a picture that may be a goal, but do not become so obsessed with what is in front of your eyes, because the girl or boy in the magazine does not even look like themselves. Guides not goals are what I recommend when viewing a physique that may be a goal in a magazine or online. I hope this sheds some light on how you feel about it, and always strive to be your best healthy self. In fact, why not make that motivation about you and snap your own photo and every 12 weeks, repeat that process and be motivated by YOU, and all the positive changes that you are seeing in yourself while you are adopting that healthy lifestyle. I will share that any images I post of myself are not photo shopped or airbrushed because I do want to represent what Fit at 50 looks like for me and I always want to be real with you. Enjoy this beautiful Monday and Stay Healthy ~ Darla ;)
