This week on the Presidents blog, Dr. Wheeler turns from biodiversity to talk about human diversity, and his intent to reach out to #women and youths from under-represented populations. In order to succeed in sustaining biological diversity, we must cultivate diverse voices in the search for answers to environmental problems. Expecting a public that neither understands science nor feels a personal attachment to the wild world to make the hard decisions necessary for success is naïve.
