This year, Ms. Shroyer and Ms. Gunderson were fortunate enough to take part in the Intuit Teacher Fellowship Program at the Intuit Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art. They collaborated on an arts integrated unit focusing on Outsider (self-taught/intuitive) art, giving the 1st graders in Ms. Gundersons class the opportunity to create drawings and sculptures inspired by Outsider artists. The program culminates in a student exhibit at Intuit where some of our students work will be displayed with the work of students from other participating schools. When visiting our school, the program coordinator was so impressed with work created by the Outsider Art Club that theyve decided to include some of their work in the show too! Please drop by the exhibit opening or visit the exhibit while on display. A very big congratulations goes out to the following students!
