This year we have some very brave ladies… and gentlemen taking part in a range of fundraising initiatives. MWAGs, Michelle Thomas and Charlotte Arkless, will be abseiling the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in May and August. Chrissie Cox, Chairman of the MWAGs, had to drop out of last years London Marathon due to bad health, but has bounced back and is in full-on training mode to run this years London Marathon.. we even have it on good authority that she’s splashed out on some fancy new trainers! Joining her is Daryl Williams, our Women’s Section Accounts and Membership Clerk, who recently completed the New York Marathon. An absolute glutton for punishment Daryl will not only be running the London Marathon, but the Berlin Marathon too!
