Thrilled to share the news that our Scout Group (64th Birmingham) has been awarded The Queens Award for Voluntary Service - the MBE for Voluntary Groups. The Group has gone above and beyond its normal remit by transforming a dilapidated building into a thriving community centre for people of all backgrounds and ages whilst continuing to also provide a great Scouting provision. A lot of hard work by a lot of people making a huge difference in the community - very apt that this was announced at the beginning of UK Scoutings Community Week.
