Time for a rant, and rant I will! I have never seen so many ignorant, inconsiderate, selfish, brain dead drivers in Londonderry as I saw last night. I was in St. Columbs Park last night around 7PM to walk my dog. Everybody knows the park is now a major construction site. Everybody knows you cant drive your car down the paths anymore. So what do I see last night, some stupid idiot comes in off the main road at 90 MPH and instead of going into the car park, what does he do? He drives down the path with no consideration for the people or animals (dogs to be specific)walking there. It was his path and you better get out of his way. He nearly hit two people last night. FFS people! You see the cones there along the path, and on both sides, yet you insist upon driving your big ass car down there with absolutely no regard for pedestrians or their pets. USE THE FREAKING CAR PARK! THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR. And no less, what gets me is this idiot who drives down a restricted path, with no regard for anything or anyone, makes a left further down onto the other path and drives up toward the St. Columbs Park House knowing full well that section is also blocked off. He was driving so fast that I was sitting there hoping he wouldnt see the steel stantions and run into them. At first I thought he was going to but he may have seen them at the last minute and stopped. St. Columbs Park is now a major construction area. The paths are closed now. ACCEPT IT AND DEAL WITH IT! Use the car park or go to Browning Drive and park down there. The park has a big enough parking area off the Browning Drive. If any inconsiderate jerk off hits and kills my dog, hes getting a New York City ass whooping and then he can also take his car to the repair shop as well. Trust me, this is not a threat but a promise. One thing about me is that I dont make threats and I dont make promises I cant keep. BTW, I did report it to the council today. END OF RANT! I think Ill go eat a Snickers now!
