To answer a few questions that people have been asking about me I thought I would give you all a brief run down of my life and qualifications. I started out my working life at the age of 16 as Marine Engineer within the Royal Australian Navy. I completed my apprenticeship as a Diesel Mechanic and Petrol Automotive Mechanic while completing my service in the Navy. From there, after I entered back into civilian life, I continued to work in the Automotive field at various places to continue my learning. Whilst working on cars I also decided to learn more about motorcycles for I had been riding and racing Motocross and supercross from the age of 5. I pretty well knew all about them but wanted to have the qualifications so I attended college to gain my Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology. While in the navy I obtained my certificate III in heavy commercial vehicle mechanical Technology and Certificate III in Light Vehicle mechanical Technology. After a while I decided to further my knowledge in the field of engineering and obtained my Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade and followed that up with a Diploma of Engineering through Charles Darwin University. I also have a Certificate II & III in Automotive Underbody Technology and Steering and suspension. I have done update courses on a regular basis to keep my knowledge up on new technologies and trends in the market Place. I have worked for quite some time for Pedders Suspension and became a Suspension Specialist. I owned a great Motorcycle import business called Total Imports PTY LTD where I was importing Pitbikes Quads and Buggies for quite sometime and followed that up with opening the service and repairs centre there. I also worked in Port Lincoln for Eyre Motorcycles for a while as their mechanical supervisor. This is the short version of my career so far and are always learning. the field of cars and motorcycles is in a great evolution period right now with new technology being introduced every year so it is a tough task to stay on top of it all. It is an exciting time to be involved in Motorcycles and I am very excited to be part of it all.
