To everyone who helped with my Dads campaign and helped me as an organizer and campaign manger: Thank you! Each and everyone of you made a huge difference in helping my Dad achieve his dream! As his campaign manager, I was very impressed not only with his work ethic, but also with all of the amazing close friends and supporters that he has earned over his career. Meeting so many of you was a true pleasure. Together we all showed that a people powered campaign can still prevail. With an exceptional candidate, hard work, and collective buy in, we overcame a 3:1 money disadvantage and we won! As a self identified democrat, progressive, liberal I believe that the best days for Albuquerque, New Mexico, and our Country are ahead of us. This campaign, for me was a big step in giving back to our community. I hope to continue working with so many of you on improving our community through politics, business, service work, education, social entrepreneurship, and any other means we can discover to make the lives of everybody in our community better because like many of you, I believe that I am only better off when we are all better off. I will be healthy because my grocery store clerk, my teachers, my friends, my students, and my community is healthy. I will be safe when all members of my community have a means to their own self empowerment. I will be thoroughly educated when all members of my community are educated and empowered to educate me. I know some of the results of Tuesdays election may present obstacles towards our work together, but I believe we can overcome any obstacle to make a better world.
