To me, part of the Holiday season is baking TONS of goodies with my sister and the kids and then boxing everything up (well most of it, LOL) and giving it away to friends, family, teachers and neighbors as gifts! Well this year, Michelle Peters decided to go all Bah Humbug on me and left me on my own. I knew there was NO WAY I could bake the quantity of goodies I needed to by myself to create the number of gifts I wanted to handout, so I ventured out and made fudge. I researched and found 15 different varieties and none of the recipes called for the use of a candy thermometer (I dont do well with science!!) So, we made just a little bit of fudge as you can see from the picture, LOL. This is why I dont drink...I just cant do anything on a small scale. I had a vision for the boxes though and here is a sample of the small box that some people are receiving....there are two layers in this box separated by waxed paper and the card lays on top telling them which flavor is placed where. Just thought someone might want to borrow my idea...makes GREAT gifts! Just a sidenote: The fudge turned out delicious, if I do say so myself...considering it was my first time making it!! I may just have to do this again next year instead of all that baking...but I am craving some cookies! LOL.
