To the guy holding up the sign Drunkards and Fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God and the guy with him, red-faced pointing and screaming whoknowswhat in Easley today, the things you say may be true but your delivery is all wrong. You have been successful today but maybe not at what you thought. You pushed people away from the gentle and loving arms of Jesus. You caused someone who was close to asking Jesus into their heart to second-guess that decision because they feel judged and condemned. You made people who are far from Jesus laugh and feel glad that they have nothing to do with Church People. If you are one who has been pushed away by people like this guy, please accept my apologies. He does not represent my God. My God is Love. 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. And by that very definition 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
