Today, 17 July, is International Criminal Justice Day, marking the 12-year anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute. According to ICC president judge Sang-Hyun Song, the day is meant to celebrate and recognize past efforts that have fostered reconciliation in societies across the world and have positively affected the lives of hundreds of thousands of victims.
