Today I gave a speech at a university to encourage students to study abroad. Afterwards two guys came up to me saying they want to go to Italy next year and theyre 300% sure to go. Then a girl came to me saying shes not sure she may go because the two guys already will. Maybe the number of candidates are limited she said. It made me sad to hear her limiting herself, especially as I mostly see this in women, this lack of self confidence becoming a wall between them and their dreams. Anyway, I presented her to the responsible professor who said he was happy to have one more candidate. If you want something, just go get it!
