Today I realized how grateful I am for big corporations - in this case Apple. As many of you know, someone took off with my iPhone yesterday. In and of itself, thats no big deal. Heck, I wouldve given them the charger and cable too if they really wanted it that badly. Its just a phone. Nothing more. However, on that phone were all of the pictures I took with the kids in Salzburg, Vienna and Prague. Unlike the phone, those are hard to replace. Hard, though not impossible. I had made it a point to sign up with iCloud when it came out. Because of that service - provided by the big corporation - all of my pictures copied over to my iPad and my home pc. So, to whoever that team was over in Silicon Valley that came up with the idea for that and to the team that marketed it and to all those guys keeping those servers going somewhere in the Carolinas, Thank you.
