Today, July 4th, is the day Americans celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence, although historically, it wasnt signed on this day. Thats OK. We must have a day to celebrate America. The greatest country on this Earth. We stand for freedom. Freedom to worship how we want to. Freedom to speak as we want to. Freedom to own guns. And most importantly, the freedom to choose our leaders. Lately, our freedoms have come under fire. Our Government has tried to limit the rights of Christian citizens by telling them what they can and cannot do. A small battle was won this past week but I suspect even bigger battles loom on the horizon. Gun control comes to the forefront every time there is a shooting. Our leaders always blame guns for these terrible acts instead of the persons pulling the trigger. Our borders have become an open door for those from other countries to enter America. Many studies have been done stating where the best places to live on Earth and none of these places were the US. Those that topped the list had very strick immigration laws, low cost of living, low cost health care and very high levels of education. In other words, these best places to live take care of their own first and only if one passes the test, can become citizens. Hopefully, this Republican/Democrat/conservative/liberal nonsense will end soon and we can become ONE nation UNDER God again.
