Today is not only a day to remember the one we lost, but to remember the ones left behind, the ones we over look everyday. The neighbors, homeless, wives, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers. Today should be a day where we remember who and what we are as a country. One nation under God, a nation of fighters of families of people who in the face of adversity and death came together and stood for each other like the legendary Phoenix our people rose from the ashes. For a brief moment social class, age, color, beliefs none of that mattered we were all one people, one blood Americans. Reach out to your brothers and sisters to the hungry stranger on the street and truly honor the memory of not only those who have died this day but those who throughout history have shed there blood so that we may have the privilege of calling ourselves the American people.
