Today is the day we always celebrated my Daddys birthday.He said they never seemed to get it right.That on his birth certificate they said the 10th ,but it was the 9th. I was sitting here thinking about what wonderful man he was.He never had much money or a beautiful home or a fancy car..But he always smiled that great big smile like he was the richest man in the county..He never knew a stranger wherever we went.If he didnt know you he was going to get to know you.He was just a plain man and he loved his home in West Virginia.He always loved to go there and see the places he lived and where he would ride pass the places where he would put up hay or help tend to the cattle ..I didnt understand why then,but know I do.He worked hard in those fields and he was proud of that and who he truly was. The bible says a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches..He truly had a good name every where he went and I know daddy you are asleep in Jesus but soon you will be walking on the most beautiful streets of Gold and you will wear the beautiful crown..Happy birthday Daddy you are resting in your makers arms in peace today.Mom ,brian,and I and the grandchildren love and miss you.
