Today is the twentieth anniversary of my moms passing. Its hard to believe. I still miss her. I was in my second year of teaching the year she died. She told me she felt I was a natural teacher. That meant a lot. I didnt become a special ed teacher until several years later. Mom was also a teacher-math. But, she was great with students who learned differently. She would try to come up with a way to reach those students. I thank her for her inspiration in trying to reach the students that may have fallen through the cracks. I hope she is smiling down at me and proud of me. Thanks, Mom. for your Godly example. I love you!!!
