Today was another busy day! I enjoyed the Neighborhood Leadership Awards at the BB&T Knights Ballpark Stadium honoring Neighborhoods and Community Organizations that are Making a Difference in their neighborhoods and Communities. Volunteer2Serve&Give was nominated and although we didnt win we are thankful to have been nominated. I partipated in 2 workshops concerning Environmental Issues and learned about Commumity Grants. Volunteer2Serve&Give promotes exposure, empowerment, engagement and awareness while volunteering and giving back. Our Causes are the Arts, Education, Environmental, Human Services and Health. In 2015 well have Community Campaigns focusing on Environmental Issues which will involve Going Green, Adopt A Highway, Recycling and Beautification.
