Today we begin our new life in Mackay, Queensland. It turns out that, even for our first day, there is already so much to love of this city: beautiful, sunny weather, relaxed and laid-back people, fantastic water resort that is open to the public for free, cheap clothes, and a super-mall. We will miss Auckland though, especially our friends and our dear daughter, Patricia Rae Katherine Oyson, who stays behind to finish her studies at the University of Auckland.
