Today we dive into the private PMs from the LCO and the LCOTG (at that time). You’ll see the craziness that is Jason Rutledge tonight. There is a definite shift towards the end with the LCOTG’s PMs. They seem “written” for her from what I can tell. This gets pretty deep and you’ll read how Jason ignores me and what I am saying and quotes unwritten law in his justification of my removal from the Q&A for the new Base “to be fair” to the parties running for the office. If you thought yesterday was a good read tonight is better. Sept 11, 2103 sgt carida wrote: I dont see anything in the RL charter that prevents asking 1 candidate a question over another. Im being censored plain and simple. I think your personal issues with Ryan Miorelli makes you want Danielle to win the election and with my hard questions you know she has no chance to win. Im calliing you on it because I see and hear. You need to put your personal differences with him to the side and do the right thing for the Legion and Base and not what you personally want. Im pretty sure the 501st LCO is finding out now that what she thinks is personally good isnt really good at all.........Ill also put out there that Im not the quite guy in the group. Ive learned in my 6 plus years in the 501st how to maintain control of my emotions and hit hard with facts. Im the guy who will stand up and say what others wont. I am the guy who gathers facts, reads the charter, saves posts and PMs on his computer. Id do it in person just as much as I post in the forums. You can take it for what it is worth because now Ive said my peace to you. Sept11,2014 LCO wrote: Well, as we both know, the 501st LCO and her LXO are in neck-deep trouble because of issues theyve brought upon themselves. And in my almost 8 years in both legions and as a GCO for two, I understand and sympathize with your stance, but there is a time when we need to have restraint and fairness for everyone involved. The Charter- in both Legions- isnt meant to be read in black and white dichotomy, but as a guideline on how to run the group. Thanks for your time. Sept 11, 2103 sgt carida wrote: Sarah, I hope this finds you well. I have having a problem with our LCO removing valid questions in our new Base CO Q&A. I feel that he is has a personal issue with me because I am asking hard, valid questions that Danielle will look bad if she answers. My questions are valid because she has strained the relationship with Garrison Carida and doesnt see it. This does present a huge problem for the new Base if she does win the CO position in the election and the members need to be aware of it. I also do not understand why I can not ask a specific question to one person or the other? How am to ask a follow up question to an answer they give? I feel bullied right now between Jason and Suzi Stelling. Sept11,2013 LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote: Hi Wally, In every Q&A that the legion has there is a requirement that all questions are directed towards both candidates. It has always been that way and will remain the policy. The reason for this is to maintain fairness and stop mud-slinging from happening. As you had been warned by the LCO and also by Suzi you have been removed from the process until Q&A is over. The questions have no relevance to Ryan and are clearly aimed at Danielle (since they were originally asked to her). Please let me know if there is anything I can else I can help you with. Regards Sarah Morrison COG Sept11,2013 My response to her with no response from her: Wally Wrote: 1. No where in the legion charter does it specify you cant ask specific questions of one person or the other. The logic is simple because his do I ask a follow up question to an answer by one person? 2. The Q&A from previous years for Echo has had questions for one specific person, not both. You need to research and look into that to be fair across the board here. I am not the first to do it but the first to be removed for doing it. I fully expect the COTG to know the charter, rules and regulations and do do some research to ensure both sides have a fair representation on a dispute. I didnt think you would step in and side with the LCO and throw me under the bus. Sorry to have bothered you:( Sept 11,2103 Just some PMs from Patrick the Echo Base CO concerning this and that... First is his PM to me about nominating Gill this year to run against him: Delpa Gival wrote: I do have passion for the RL Wally. More than you know. More than my current job. This is my passion and what I love to do. Bad timing this event with Danielle came up at election time. But dont question my loyalty here. If you dont want to support me that is fine. THIS IS MY LIFE. Can you say that? Follow up PM from him: Delpa Gival wrote: I am sorry I lost my temper with that last message. I do the best I can for what is brought to my attention and I love the RL and what I do. Please dont think otherwise. Patrick PM from him on Danielles Hospital visit: Delpa Gival wrote: Wally sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I saw your threads and messages today but I dont have normal hours I had to work today for that I apoligize. There was no slander or Malicious intent here, it was a huge miss communacation that has ballooned totally out of control. I know like you said maybe she has pushed peoples buttons in the past, You may know her better than me. She collected a small fund from a hospital, maybe she should have told me this is a costume event please post it. But she didnt. You really want to ban her from the 501st and kick her out of the academy for that? This issue has been reported by me to Legion command and the mission thread has been moved by them. This is what is written in the charter: Charter wrote: (The COG) ...and he/she oversees all Legion level elections (and where asked, Base elections), by enforcing any campaigning policies prior to the elections, setting up and monitoring the poll, and certifying the results. Campaign Policies are written by the COG and at the COGs discretion. These are usually the same year to year. There has always been a policy of questions needing to be asked of all candidates in an election. If you make the effort every question can be worded and asked of both candidates. sgt carida wrote:Back to my original question where is it written in the charter/policy that I have to ask both of the candidates the question instead of one? I didnt see it and I still dont see it in what you provided to me. LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote: 2. The Q&A from previous years for Echo has had questions for one specific person, not both. You need to research and look into that to be fair across the board here. I am not the first to do it but the first to be removed for doing it. Firstly, last year was done the same way this will be done. Echo base didnt have a Q&A last year as there was no one contending the position. sgt carida wrote:Ok my fault I was talking about 2011 and not 2012. LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote:Secondly, I am not to blame if previous COGs did it wrong or in a different way. Doing it wrong in the past is not a pass to do it wrong again! sgt carida wrote:I fully expect the COTG to know the charter, rules and regulations and do do some research to ensure both sides have a fair representation on a dispute. LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote:Just because you have a limited knowledge or understanding of the policies surrounding Q&A. Dont assume you know all there is to know about my charter because you looked over a section or so. Just because I didnt side with you in this doesnt mean I didnt do my research. The realm of elections, Q&A and voting is the COGs domain. It is up to the COG to write the policies that will govern the election period and ensure that they are maintained. sgt carida wrote:I am pretty sure you just called me stupid here? While I may be a rank and file member of the Rebel Legion (at my own choice. Look at who has been nominated for CO positions in Echo Base and the new Base over the last few years) I have been in a Command position with Garrison Carida and the 501st Legion for almost 3 years. I know full well how to research and read. As the LCOTG it is your job to make a unbias decision on matter concerning the Charter. It is your job to ensure we follow it, members and Command or is it THAT much different over here? Id also like to ask, since you should be able to provide it, the COG written policy that governs the current years election process? You should be able to provide that to me since you write and maintain it. LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote: You were removed from the Q&A because you were repeatedly warned about your posts and continued to be inflammatory. Sgt carida wrote: If you would please refer back to my original PM to you I was contacted by the LCO because his personal hatred for Ryan Miorelli is so much so that he felt that my questions were degrading to Danielle. My intent, and it was proved, that she has caused a strain in her relatioinship with Garrison Carida and feels no remorse about it. Considering Garrison Carida opened over 100 events to Echo Base and has several high profile duel members it IS in the new bases memberships best interests to know this. I also re-worded my questions so both Ryan and Danielle could answer them and also added several more. I did what I was asked to do and was removed from the Q&A because I did exactly what the LCO asked me to do. His personal bias removed me, not for what I was asking because I did do exactly what he asked me to do. Would you really look into it please? LCOTG Commander_Barriss wrote: On to a charter violation that you have made. Charter wrote: Members must never maliciously disparage any fellow costumer, fellow member of the Rebel Legion, or other costume clubs or their members in public, on the Rebel Legion forums (beyond forum permissions that an Active Member requires) or on websites on the internet that are open to the public. It has been brought to my attention that you have made hostile post on your Facebook page that are threatening in nature towards the RL and its hirer command. You have also shared information on Facebook that is from a private forum which is also a violation. I would ask that these post are removed immediately and that you refrain from posting such things again. I would also recommend that you make an apology for your comments. I can not ensure that this will not go to trial but it will assist in lessening the charge. Regards Sarah Morrison Sgt Carida wrote: I am torn at this point because of my position within the Rebel Legion and my position within Garrison Carida and the 501st. Right now I will apologize to the LCO because he owes me one as much as I owe him one. I do feel that I did let the Rebel Legion down in my post but considering I was censored I feel it is the only way for anyone to hear me or anything to be done on the matter. I at NO time shared private information, just my side of what happened. I feel I am still being bullied here and it is really seeming one sided. I will remove my posts and apologize to the LCO, the Rebel Legion and Echo/new Base once two things happen. First I want the LCO to reinstate me to the Q&A session for the new Base and I want to either have a private forum to discuss the issue or a conferance call with him and a neutral party to moderate it, say Erich Shaffer. If the LCO feels that he doesnt want to do this I am ready for what may come. I am fully prepared to be removed from the Rebel Legion which I do not want. Please let me know when you get an answer. So at this point the private PMs stop and I am informed that there will be a hearing for me. I didn’t save any of that stuff because it wasn’t really important. Tomorrow we move into the hearing phase of me being removed from the Rebel Legion. If you liked tonight tomorrow is even better. I’ll be on most of the evening to answer any questions you all might have.
