Todays Sunday, Got up early to boil cabbage for pigs in the blanket finally the store got in large cabbage. Besides making food, Sunday a day of worship ! Well, How do I explain this too you , In the past, the wife and I would CHURCH HOP we would travel and visit a different church almost every Sunday, and Jewish places of worship and Chinese temples, Yes the Chinese have some beautiful places right in this area, I bet you never knew, they are many, in the Scranton- Wilkes-Barre area. Some of you, it may rub you the wrong way, about doing this, that is signs of a narrow minded person. Just think Jesus went to Temple, Why cant a catholic ? If you really believe in Jesus, you should do what he did...... You name a main religion we, were at their service. met their people. Besides that, the best kept secret, is a Chinese Temple... Where are they ? Just ask any Chinese person.... They have them in their homes. Some, like a Chinese Professor and his wife who is a R.N. probably have at least 50,000 in making that service area in their home, its really something to see. The Altar, the Buddha, the gold drapes and red colors. Chinese people are allowed to have many religions besides Buddha, some are catholic like the professor and his wife, some are Baptist, figure that one out. If you wish, there is a catholic church in clarks-green (the only catholic church) in that area, has huge beautiful trees behind the altar, with huge skylights filling that area with plenty of sun light.
