Todays battle report: After my normal simple errands, with the add on of replacing my other wiper blade, the wife and I headed out to look at the possibility of new computers and the hope of getting me a new suit. We went to Office Depot (2 different locations) and came up with very little on the puters. There was a decent sale, but the machines were not wow-worthy. We went to K&G for the suit stuff. After 30 minutes of walking around and looking at a couple, I realized the sizing issue with the pants - the sizes with the suits they had were too big for my coat size and, on asking, I was told that they could only take them in so far. After that, we left, and I figured I would stick my head in at Mens Warehouse, see it be high priced with no sales or discounts, then head over to the Big & Tall store, eat the cost and get one suit. WHen we walked in, a very helpful lady named Ebony came up to help us. Over an hour later, I had 3 suits, a sport coat, 4 shirts, 4 ties, 4 pocket silks, 4 sets of braces, a set of cufflinks, a tie bar, and a pair of shoes. All total, about $3600 worth of stuff. With the buy one, get one free sale, and a little register wizardry, I walked out of there for 1860. They are right, at Mens Warehouse, you ARE gonna like the way you look. After that, we headed to Best Buy to look at the computers for pricing purposes. We got a couple good packages on new laptops. They rang it up wrong, and we spent about $65 less than it should have been. We then went to Wal Mart for some additional items. I am wiped out.
